GREAT Scholarships 2025 – Ghana, India and Türkiye - Opening November 2024

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½University of London is offering four scholarships to students from Ghana, India and Türkiye applying for eligible postgraduate courses for the 2025/26 academic year.

The scholarship programme offers financial support to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study at Brunel.

Please note that applicants should be passport holders of Ghana, India and Türkiye.

How much is it worth

Each GREAT – Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½University of London Scholarship - 2025 is worth £10,000 towards tuition fees.

Eligible courses

• MSc Accounting and Business Intelligence
• MSc Artificial Intelligence Strategy
• MSc Flood and Coastal Engineering (with Infrastructure Design)
• MSc Flood and Coastal Engineering (with Project Risk Management)
• MSc Renewable Energy Engineering
• MSc Advanced Professional Practice (APP) or one of the following specialist routes:
• MSc APP (Cardiovascular Health)
• MSc APP (Critical Care)
• MSc APP (Neurological Rehabilitation)
• MSc APP (Pelvic Health)

How to apply?

Stage 1: Apply for an eligible one-year full-time Master's course at Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½University London

You must apply for an eligible master’s course through the standard application procedure and receive an offer of admission.

Stage 2: Complete and submit the online application no later than 11:59PM on 16 May 2025.

Eligibility

To be considered for a GREAT – Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½University of London Scholarship you must:

• be a citizen of Ghana, India or Türkiye
• have been classified as Overseas for fee status
• apply for an eligible one-year full-time Master's course for the relevant country.
• have received an offer of admission to study for an eligible one-year full-time Master's.
• be available to commence your academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September/October 2025

You are not eligible if:

• You hold dual British citizenship
• Your course is an on-line/distance learning course
• The duration of your course is longer than one year

Additional requirements

In addition to the above eligibility, applicants who are awarded this scholarship will be required to have met the English entry requirement for each course (Pre-sessional English courses are not supported by this programme) by 30 May 2025. If you have not met the English entry requirements yet, please make the necessary arrangements as soon as possible to ensure you meet this requirement by the deadline.

The GREAT Scholarships 2025 programme, launched by the British Council together with 71 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, France, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, Türkiye, and Vietnam in accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at 71 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
